The recruitment market has seen a shift away from the larger practices towards more boutique-size consultancies, such as my client. They’ve been enjoying sustained growth in a difficult market and are in a position to take the business in directions that follow the current cyber threat landscape and provide a wrap-around service that will help protect their clients against those threats.
And that’s exactly where you come in. You’ll be joining as the key technical consultant to support and enhance their current service offering. This is a real chance for you to be the central figure as they look to build a successful technical arm to what’s already a thriving business.
This is a real chance to step up and be part of building something to be proud of!
This is a roll-your-sleeves-up company, with a flat hierarchy, a place for people who like to get stuck in and work in an environment of mutual respect, support, and collaboration.
Typical Responsibilities of the Technical Security Consultant:
* Support client delivery, looking at engagements through a technical lens and ensuring the latest approaches are applied to projects. This will likely include Cloud, network, endpoint security, security architecture reviews, and IT security audits. From advisory to hands-on. Work with the CTO to support the review and development of the internal network, tooling, and architectural initiatives. Along with the senior leadership, consider how the technical services can be evolved and improved to enhance the service provided to the client. Manage the pen test service provided by a 3rd party, agreeing on scope, schedule, and reporting findings to the client in a language they’ll understand.

Note: No set requirement for going to the office every week; you just need to be able to get there if there’s an all-team meeting – you won’t be going in for the sake of it.
