JOB PURPOSE
The Security Senior Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the company's assets, employees, and operations. This role ensures a secure environment and culture by managing security operations, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating crisis management efforts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Develop Security Policies: Create and enforce security policies and procedures to protect company assets and ensure employee safety.
* Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
* Crisis Management: Develop and oversee crisis management plans, including disaster recovery, evacuation, and emergency response.
* Security Operations Management: Oversee daily security operations, manage security personnel, and coordinate with law enforcement agencies.
* Training and Development: Provide training programs for security staff to ensure preparedness and competence in handling security issues.
* Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal security regulations and standards.
* Technology Implementation: Implement and manage security technologies such as surveillance systems, access control, and alarm systems.
ALL ABOUT YOU
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
* Experience: Relevant experience in security management in a senior management role.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) are highly desirable.
* Proven track record leading Security for a similar size company is required.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in the FMCG sector, particularly in the food industry, is a plus.

* Leadership: Strong leadership skills to manage and motivate a team of security professionals.
* Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze security data and trends to make informed decisions.
* Communication: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey security policies and procedures to staff and stakeholders.
* Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in security technologies and systems, including surveillance, access control, and intrusion detection.
* Crisis Management: Skills in crisis management and emergency response planning.
* Compliance Knowledge: Understanding of relevant security regulations and standards.
* Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address security challenges and incidents.
