Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am-15:00pm
Start date: Monday 20th January 2025 (negotiable)
Pay: £13-£15 (negotiable)

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team. You will work closely with students who may exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups with behavioural and additional needs.
- Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Support the development of pupils' social, emotional, and academic skills.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, acting as a mentor and role model.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to build positive relationships and foster trust with pupils.
- Previous experience working with children or adults with behavioural needs or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
