Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00am-15:00pm
Start date: Monday 20th January 2025 (negotiable)
Pay: £13-£15 (negotiable)

The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Behaviour Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team. You will work closely with students who may exhibit challenging behaviours, helping them to overcome barriers to learning and achieve their potential.
As a Behaviour Teaching Assistant, you will:
1. Provide tailored support to individual pupils or small groups with behavioural and additional needs.
2. Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies and individualized education plans (IEPs).
3. Promote a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
4. Support the development of pupils’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
5. Build strong relationships with pupils, acting as a mentor and role model.
6. Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
About You
To excel in this role, you will need:
1. A genuine passion for working with children and young people with additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, Dyspraxia.
2. Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. The ability to build positive relationships and foster trust with pupils.
5. Previous experience working with children or adults with behavioural needs or in a similar role (desirable but not essential).
