Job Title: Azure DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
Are you passionate about streamlining software delivery, infrastructure management, and implementing DevOps best practices? We're looking for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer to join our client's remote team, helping to shape and optimise their CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
Key Responsibilities for the Azure DevOps Engineer:
Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps (YAML), ensuring reliable and efficient deployment processes.
Manage infrastructure as code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, and Bicep to provision and maintain cloud resources.
Automate the scaling and provisioning of resources on Azure to support application demands.
Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), providing deployment and monitoring support.
Champion best practices in code quality, deployment strategies, and release automation.
Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
Work with security teams to ensure compliance and integrate security measures throughout the DevOps lifecycle.Essential Skills and Experience:
3+ years working within DevOps teams.
Proven expertise with Microsoft Azure and hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure using IaC tools (Terraform or ARM templates preferred; AWS experience is also a plus).
Strong background in CI/CD pipeline setup and maintenance using Azure DevOps or similar tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Proficient in source control systems (Git) and branch strategies suited to fast-paced development cycles.
Good scripting/programming skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and infrastructure management.
A keen learner who stays updated on DevOps tools, trends, and cloud technologies.
Experience collaborating with Agile teams and a strong understanding of cloud-related concepts like networking and security.
Strong communication skills with the ability to advise, listen, and contribute to finding optimal solutions.
Self-driven, able to work independently with minimal guidance, and motivated to deliver innovative solutions.What We Offer:
