Full Time, 37 hours Salary : £27,314 - £30,749 dependent on qualifications and experience We are seeking talented individuals who are passionate about delivering the very best experience to young people. We are currently looking for a Public Services Lecturer to join us on a full time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with previous experience in teaching Public Services and someone who is enthusiastic about the subject and is keen to learn. The successful candidate will engage and participate in advising and assessing students, preparing course material that accommodates the learning strategy of the college and participating in training and meetings where required. Experience in delivery of teamwork and leadership, emergency response, major incidents, understanding the third sector and front line services would be highly advantageous. The role will also cross over into aspects of sport, exercise and health; including nutrition and fitness & training. This could also suit a candidate with a Sport or Public Service degree who can use transferable skills to work across the two sectors. This is an exciting opportunity to work within an outstanding area of the college. As part of a well-established team, you will work closely with colleagues and students across both of our campuses, ensuring success for both college and students. An academic background in Public Services is preferred along with a recognised teaching qualification, (L5 or above). We will also consider someone who is willing to work towards obtaining this qualification. Experience of teaching Public Services and Sport BTEC level 2 and 3 and a willingness to teach on both programmes would be advantageous.
