Role Overview
As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in managing shift activities, ensuring operational efficiency, and supporting the development of your team. You will act as a role model, promoting a professional and positive work environment while driving performance, compliance, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee daily shift operations, delegating tasks, and prioritising workload effectively, stepping in for the Supervisor when required.
2. Monitor and report staff attendance, conduct, and performance, ensuring alignment with company policies.
3. Train and mentor team members to support onboarding, development, and performance improvements.
4. Support daily team briefings and foster strong internal communication.
5. Maintain compliance with health & safety regulations and ensure accurate reporting of incidents, conduct quality checks and ensure adherence to all warehouse processes and procedures.
6. Implement and sustain 5S and Opertune initiatives to drive efficiency and maintain high operational standards.
Shift Information
The shift pattern for this Team Leader role is Monday to Friday, 18:00-02:30.

Essential Skills
Required Skills & Experience:
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, influence, provide feedback, and manage people effectively.
2. Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
3. Competence in Microsoft Excel and Outlook for reporting and communication.
4. Experience in 3PL, FMCG, or Downstream Access environments (minimum 1 year preferred).
5. Flexibility to work different shifts and locations as required.
6. For some supervisory roles, a Fork Lift Truck (FLT) Licence, First Aid, Fire Warden, or relevant Health & Safety Training will be required.
