ABOUT THE COMPANY
Your new company is a highly successful Chemical Manufacturer who specializes in both Manufacturing & Design. They are known for their innovation across both Mechanical & Chemical Engineering and operate across a large Manufacturing Facility near Manchester. They have a large site presence, including a HQ, Research & Development centre, training centre, and site presence. They are looking to expand their Technical team to recruit an additional Mechanical Engineer.
ABOUT THE ROLE
This role as a Mechanical Engineer is a fully encompassing role, giving you full exposure to the life cycle of Engineering, helping manage all phases of projects, including engineering design, procurement, planning, installation, and evaluation. You will be working alongside Engineers on projects, where you will be able to generate the skills to manage projects solely in the future.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Engineer to work on Engineering projects from start to finish and be hands-on with Engineering. It is a faster-paced role, where you will be involved in both creating designs to solve specific issues and developing a plan for each project that includes its requirements, cost, and timings.
This is an excellent opportunity to join the business, as the team is growing. Their L&D centre is looking to expand into two floors, with their Engineering capability and capacity to grow by almost double over the next year. With this, comes the opportunity to manage in the future.
ABOUT YOU
For this role, they are looking for a naturally inquisitive Engineer who is interested and keen to work in the Chemical Sector. Regarding qualifications, a Degree in Mechanical Engineering is preferable for this position, but other Engineering Degrees will be taken into consideration. 3+ Years of experience for this role is desirable, preferably with experience within Chemical Manufacturing or Chemistry. Experience with agitators, reactors, and pumps is advantageous too.
WHAT YOU’LL GET IN RETURN
You will receive an excellent base salary between £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus benefits too. With this role, there are additional qualifications and training offered.
