Job Description
13. Proposal Development: Create, write, and design high-quality bid proposals that align with client requirements and company standards.
14. Content Creation: Develop persuasive and informative content for bids, including, where applicable executive summaries, case studies, and tailored responses to proposals, tenders and PPQ’s/SQ’s.
15. Visual Design: Utilise design software to produce visually appealing and professional proposal documents, incorporating graphics, charts, maps and images.
16. Presentations: Aid in the presentation process using PowerPoint and creating printed collateral.
17. Collaboration: Working closely with the sales, design and marketing department, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure proposal accuracy and coherence.
18. Flexible approach: Offering wider support when required to the sales, design and marketing teams.
19. Quality Assurance: Review and edit proposal content to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to consultant/client specifications.
20. Project Management: Manage multiple bid projects simultaneously, ensuring timely submission and compliance with all deadlines and requirements.
21. Continuous Improvement: Seek feedback on submitted bids and continuously refine and improve proposal strategies and processes.
22. Efficiencies: Create standardised templates for generic material to ensure consistency across all bids. Research and implement software that will streamline the bid writing/design process. Completing a tender matrix and documenting where to find content for future use.
Qualifications
23. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Sales, Communications, Graphic Design, English, History or a related field.
24. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
25. Knowledge of using AI is advantageous.
26. Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
27. Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
28. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
29. High attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work under tight deadlines.
30. Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in bid writing and design.
