Job summary An opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and flexible Manager for our Reception Care Navigation Team to join our successful and busy GP practice on a full-time basis. This is a Senior position within our practice, and you will be a member of the Management Support Team who work closely with and support our Managing Partner and the Deputy Manager. This is a full time role requiring a flexible approach to your working day, and hours to ensure full support is provided to the RCN Team. Main duties of the job You will have overall responsibility for the RCN Team (Reception Care Navigator Team) You will work closely with the Managing Partner, the Deputy Manager, the Management Support Team and our GP Partners. You will guide and support our Senior Reception Care Navigators. You will oversee our RCN including full involvement with recruitment, training, appraisals and any other HR matters as required by the Management Support Team. You will maintain the RCN staff rotas ensuring an adequate daily provision of cover at all times and arrange additional hours where required. You will coordinate and monitor your teams overtime, annual leave and absences. You will ensure your RCN team are professional and presentable at all times. You will ensure your RCN team are aware of, and follow procedures, protocols and strict confidentiality at all times. You will ensure your RCN team manage all clinical tasks such as: - triaging and scheduling appointments to the appropriate clinical resource; - the processing of prescriptions timely and accurately, - new patient registrations, data entry, - fully engage and support with seasonal health campaigns -work closely with our inhouse Pharmacy, our Care Homes and all other external professionals who contact or attend the surgery. We currently have 15140 registered patients and operate from a purpose-built premises based in a quiet suburb of Fleet, Hampshire.
