Are you an experienced finance professional who is keen to make a difference? We are recruiting for a Finance Manager to work for a well-known charity based in Southend.
Our client is an outstanding registered charity working with children, young people, families, and the wider community to aid personal, social, cultural, and moral development. Based in Southend-on-Sea, this role is to work within a small team, acting as a number two to the CEO.
This role is currently part-time, with a minimum of 2 days a week being worked and a maximum of 4 days. This role can be flexible depending on the needs of the individual.
Responsibilities:
As a Finance Manager, you will:
1. Lead the management accounting process, including cost analysis
2. Budgeting and forecasting
3. Monthly and annual reporting
4. Work closely with the SLT providing analysis on profit and loss and presenting findings
Requirements:
As a Finance Manager, you will need:
1. Experience in working closely with C-Suite staff, including presenting
2. Experience in producing monthly management accounts, including budgeting and forecasting
3. Ideally ACCA or CIMA qualification, however our client is also open to meeting candidates qualified by experience
4. The desire to work for a charity and make a difference
