About You
To be successful in this role you should hold:
* An Early Years qualification
* A recognised teaching qualification
* A1 assessor or equivalent qualification.
We are looking for candidates who have excellent communication skills and the ability to create great rapport, helping you not only to support our learners but to engage with employers about each learner’s progress, as well as to explore new opportunities.
You will also be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills, supported by good IT skills and meet the criteria as laid out in the person specification for the role.
About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Tutor to join our team of professionals delivering early years practitioner and early years educator qualifications in the North-east area, Nottingham.
As part of this role, you will:
* Manage apprenticeships for the lifecycle of their programme, from sign-up to reviews, EPA and the timely completion of the qualification including all associated administration
* Robustly assess and develop learner competency for a range of qualifications.
* Provide training for all components including functional skills throughout the apprenticeship, in line with our quality standards
* Work with current and prospective employers to identify and secure additional apprenticeship opportunities.

Safeguarding responsibilities
* This role will involve daily contact with early years learners, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.
* All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
