Land Manager for Utility Scale Solar & BESS - Salary up to £70,000 DOE.
Location: Hybrid flexible working system - London office, and site visits focused on the East Midlands.
Opportunity: Work within an IPP on renewable energy NSIPs.
Our client, a fast-growing international IPP, has secured a pipeline of over 8GW of grid connections and is looking to expand their team in the UK.
This company has a unique approach to securing grid connections, ensuring a body of work through to 2036 and offering strong investment backing for stability in the clean energy transition.
The company values entrepreneurial spirit and maintains a clear line of communication from project inception to operational status, ensuring efficient decision-making.
In-house Capabilities: The company has capabilities across land, planning, development, grid & design engineering, construction, and asset management.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Identify suitable land and opportunities for renewable energy developments.
2. Engage and manage landowner relationships.
3. Handle commercial negotiations related to land acquisition (HoTs, LOAs, easements, wayleaves).
This role will focus on land matters in the East Midlands, requiring travel to engage with landowners and visit sites. The company offers a flexible hybrid working system.
Key Requirements:
1. Experience in handling large-scale infrastructure projects.
2. Backgrounds that would lend themselves well to this role include:
1. Renewable Energy Land Managers already in the sector.
2. Chartered Surveyors working on behalf of major utilities/infrastructure projects.
3. Land Managers with experience in DCO projects across multiple sectors.
