As a Medical Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients in primary care settings, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and friendly experience. You will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of healthcare facilities, including GP surgeries, health centers, and clinics. Key Responsibilities: Greet and assist patients, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment Manage telephone inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate departments Schedule and manage patient appointments, using electronic health systems Handle patient registration, ensuring accuracy in data entry Process repeat prescriptions and medical documentation Provide general administrative support to the medical team Ensure patient confidentiality and comply with GDPR guidelines Assist in resolving patient queries and concerns in a timely manner What Were Looking For: Previous experience as a medical receptionist or similar role in a healthcare environment is preferred Proficiency in using medical practice management software (such as EMIS, Docman, SystmOne, etc.) Previous experience using Emis Web and Docman systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment Compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with patients A team player with a positive attitude Why choose Medical Staffing?
