Wolfson College Cambridge wishes to appoint a new Senior Tutor to start in September 2025.
Wolfson College is a vibrant international community consisting of 420 full-time graduate students, 300 part-time graduate students, 170 mature undergraduates and 120 Governing Body Fellows including 30 Junior Research Fellows. The College is set in fine gardens and has accommodation for 450 residents.
The Senior Tutor is a key member of the senior management team and is responsible for the education and welfare of the student body. The role involves setting the College’s strategy, working closely with the President, Bursar, and Development Director. The Senior Tutor leads a team including the Deputy Senior Tutor (Welfare and Wellbeing), the Tutorial Office Manager, the College Librarian, the Director of Admissions, Directors of Studies, and two College Assistant Professors.
The role can be structured as full-time (100%) or part-time (minimum 80%). The salary will be at point 68 on the University of Cambridge pay scale (currently £80,692 FTE).
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 28 February 2025. Interviews for short-listed candidates are planned for Monday 17 March 2025. There will also be an opportunity to meet Fellows, the College Officers, representatives of WCSA, the Tutorial Office staff, and to have a tour of the College in the week beginning 10 March 2025.
