Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented Private Client Solicitor to join a thriving and experienced team. Reporting directly to the Head of Private Client, the successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE, specialising in wills, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts, and related private client matters. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development within a forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities:
Advising clients on wills, estate planning, trusts, tax issues, powers of attorney, estate administration, and inheritance matters.
Managing incoming instructions and supporting the wider team.
Conducting client meetings at various locations including homes, nursing homes, and hospitals.
Building strong relationships with clients and local professionals.
Drafting legal documentation and correspondence accurately.
Managing client billing effectively.
Utilising case management software daily.
Participating in marketing events and contributing to the firm's business development activities.Requirements:
3-8+ years PQE in Private Client law.
Strong expertise in estate planning, will preparation, and powers of attorney.
Experience handling taxable estates and trust administration.
Ability to draft complex legal documents with high accuracy.
STEP membership is essential; Association of Lifetime Lawyers membership is desirable.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
