Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Cheltenham - 5 days on site
Due to the sensitive nature of this role you will be required to have DV (Developed Vetting) level Security Clearance. An allowance of £5k per annum will be payable monthly while you hold this DV and continue to work in a role that requires that level of security clearance. The terms of this allowance will be made available if you are successful in being recruited into this role.

The Infrastructure Engineering Professional supports with Automation, Enterprise Systems Management (ESM) and Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CICD) technologies, supporting the execution of key technologies within the infrastructure landscape.
What you'll do:
1. Systems engineering across all popular operating systems on virtualised and cloud platforms.
2. Automation of all aspects of systems infrastructure/service lifecycle.
3. Consulting with customers and developers to design and implement solutions to delight our users.
4. Design and deployment of wide range of software and services for enterprise and web-scale scenarios.
What you'll bring:
1. Operating Systems deployment and advanced configuration (Linux, Windows)
2. IP Networking (Routing, Firewall configuration)
3. Virtualisation or cloud computing
4. Enthusiasm to continually learn on new and unfamiliar technologies.
5. Scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python)
6. Automation (Ansible, Terraform, AWX)
You may also have:
1. Advanced networking (Advanced routing, Proxy config, VPNs, SDN, NSX-T)
2. Containers (building, deploying), Kubernetes
3. Agile project experience (JIRA)
4. Cloud computing
