Role Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of personal and trust tax clients, including those with complex or contentious tax issues
* Reviewing tax returns and compliance work completed by junior team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency
* Delivering proactive, efficient, and cost-effective tax advice, tailored to individual client needs
* Supervising, training, and mentoring junior staff, supporting their development and technical growth
* Researching and drafting private client and employment tax advisory reports
* Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to ensure exceptional client service
* Assisting the Senior Management and Partner team in refining processes and improving overall efficiency
* Identifying opportunities for tax planning and additional advisory work

Candidate Requirements
* CTA qualified or qualified by experience
* At least four years’ post-qualification experience in personal tax
* Strong technical knowledge in personal and trust tax compliance and advisory services
* Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with a client-first approach
* Strong time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Commercially minded with an ability to identify and capitalise on tax planning opportunities
* Experience supervising, mentoring, and leading junior team members
* Exposure to tax advisory work (desirable but not essential)
* Some experience with other tax areas is beneficial but not required
