Marketing Manager @ VES (Chandler's Ford, United Kingdom)
About VES
VES is a family run British manufacturer in the commercial ventilation industry. With a heritage of over 55 years, we manufacture market leading air handling units and provide service solutions to buildings / businesses across the UK. With two factories in England, encompassing over 75,000 square feet of manufacturing space, we are equipped to manage end-to-end projects seamlessly.
Purpose of Role
To lead the marketing team and all its projects. In this role you’ll take ownership and accountability for the creation, implementation, budget and analysis of our marketing strategy to help bring our vision to life, which will consist of both external and internal marketing initiatives. You’ll also be accountable for the day-to-day management of all team members. As a manager within the business, you’ll be tasked with raising the visibility of marketing, managing inter-departmental relationships and looking for outward opportunities to develop / improve both the team and company.
Role Summary
This is an exciting position within a growing team and company, reporting directly to the Marketing Director. You will initially manage two people, with potential for this to grow in the future if the business wishes to expand the department further. At the start you’ll take the lead on implementing and analysing the existing marketing strategy of the company, before taking ownership for the creation, implementation and analysis of a future team strategy. You and your team’s projects will be varied and will range from running our LinkedIn campaign, organising tradeshow exhibits and revamping our website to creating branded sales items, running our internal company newsletter and leading on the organisation of our two annual company-run events. The successful candidate will need to be a self-starter with strong attention to detail, who is both a team player and someone who can work autonomously, who wants to make a difference and respectfully bring something new to the table. It is a great position for someone with both marketing and management experience who wants to lead a whole team, make visible change to a company and report directly to a board member of a privately owned business.
