Overview A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager to lead the execution of routine functions and activities at our 528,000 sq ft shared user facility in Rockingham. The role holder will ensure all warehouse operations are efficient, effective and The Web is an engaging place to work Shifts are rotational shift patterns and varied days. How will you contribute? This role requires a high level of strategic skills and change management to deliver the contract account plans, achieve customer satisfaction, and to ultimately ensure the delivery of contractual KPIs and budget requirements. Developing a behavioural lead, best in class SHEQ performance, ensuring that the site exceeds all company and customer procedures and requirements relating to Health and Safety. Giving direction and monitor performance that assists in ensuring the site runs efficiently and effectively with direct responsibility for Warehouse activities on site, taking accountability for overall performance of the operation. Ensure effective communication throughout the operational leadership team; communicating planned requirements providing information on performance. Develop strong relationships with People leadership team ensuring the delivery of an effective people plan across the site, and ensuring the best talent is in place to deliver business objectives and deliver a robust succession plan for current and future key roles. Developing and maintaining a high-performance culture across the site through motivating and guiding the leadership team to deliver operational excellence and exceed the customer expectations through contractual KPIs. Lead, develop and inspire direct reports to achieve business goals while maximising individuals potential. Build a strong team that drives continuous improvement and delivers strategic growth for both the business and customer. What will you bring? You must be able to demonstrate senior management experience in high volume, customer service driven operations. You will have experience of working closely with customers and developing effective working relationships, ideally in a similar role. You must have the energy, determination and commitment to operate in an environment where regular customer contact and scrutiny is the norm and effective customer communication is essential. You will be inquisitive, innovative and deliver an exceptional service to the customer. Excellent commercial acumen understand the dynamics of both open/ closed book contracts & develops a profit centre approach & culture amongst the Account team that is focused on bottom line performance. Well-developed interpersonal skills and able to influence at all levels. Able to manage conflict and tough conversations including complex IR issues. What do we offer?
