As a Game Designer at Lighthouse Games, you will play a fundamental role in shaping the future of our exciting project. We are seeking a creative and analytical thinker who can help design engaging gameplay experiences that captivate our audience.
Responsibilities:
* Develop innovative gameplay systems and mechanics to enhance player engagement and enjoyment.
* Design and prototype game areas and gameplay boundaries.
* Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that game design is cohesive and integrated within the overall project.
* Conduct playtesting sessions and analyse player feedback for continuous improvement of game features.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate fresh ideas into game design.
Requirements:
* Experience in game design with a focus on AAA titles.
* Experience in shipping an AAA IP title.
* A strong knowledge of Unreal Engine 5.
* Proficient in design documentation and the ability to create clear and concise design specs.
* Strong understanding of gameplay balance, level design, and player experience.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate ideas.
* Passion for video games and a solid understanding of the gaming industry.
