Job summary Sixways Clinic is a friendly, forward thinking surgery. We are looking for an experienced healthcare assistant to work within our friendly and supportive nursing team. The role is for 20 hours per week and this can be spread through the week however it is a requirement to work 4-8pm on mondays. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will ideally have experience working within a General Practice setting. The post holder will have clinical system experience and knowledge of entering patient information onto the system. The post holder will be expected to undertake the following as part of their role: NHS Health Checks, ECG's, B12, shingles, flu and pneumo vaccinations, Wound care (where a management plan is in place), Stitch removal, Phlebotomy, Stock ordering and rotation Infection control and Prevention support. The role will include set time for purely phlebotomy appointments. About us We are a 6 partner practice with an established nursing team consisting of 2 ANPs, 3 PNs, 1 HCA and 1 Phlebotomist.
