What the role involves:
As SEO Team Lead, you will lead the SEO team, develop the product and ensure we capitalise on the ongoing growth potential in this area – delivering both strategic and commercial solutions. Your key tasks will include:
* Responsible for Climb Online’s SEO product development, customisation & delivery.
* Be responsible for all aspects of SEO at Climb Online, including Strategy, Technical, Content, Authority & Digital PR
* Building and managing the daily running of the SEO team at Climb Online in the UK and our offshore teams.
* Help to continuously establish Climb Online’s SEO offering as an industry leading through high quality delivery and achieve industry recognition (e.g. awards and partnerships).
* Responsible for team management and development of the SEO team.
* Responsible for management of international team.
* Continually develop as a manager, building strong working relationships and improving efficiency.
* Overall responsibility for the strategic growth of SEO.
* Be a key member of the management team at Climb Online. Working together to expand into the digital market space.
* Work with the sales team on new business– SEO specific pitches, SEO as part of wider pitches and also SEO projects for clients.
* Grow SEO team revenue through existing services and/or identifying new market opportunities which can be grown in SEO revenue streams
* Responsibility over the profitability of the SEO department ensuring budgets are met
* Working with teams (e.g. PPC, Social, Email, Sales, client services) to work together to offer a cross-channel product to clients.
* Responsible for overall delivery of work and quality of work from SEO teams driving forward best practice
We want you to have :
* 5+ years experience in an SEO role, preferably agency side
* Deep understanding of the different faces of SEO, inclusive of strategy, technical, content, authority and Digital PR
* An extensive knowledge of profitability and cost optimisation
* Knowledge of SEO tools including, SEMrush, AHRefs & Screaming Frog
* Ability to explain the relationship between effort and results to clients
* Strong experience of building and maintaining client relationships
* Understanding of interplay between SEO, PPC & Social
* A proven track record of delivering results
* Good level of Google Analytics knowledge
