Job summary We have an exciting role to offer a fixed term contract for 6 months for a Band 6 nutritional support dietitian. The role will offer a variety of specialities to help increase your dietetic experience in many areas including medical, surgical and more specialist areas. The Dietetic Service is an integral part of the Trust wide Therapy Directorate and will work closely with other therapy colleagues. We also have 2 Dietetic Assistant and full-time admin support. Main duties of the job To work as an autonomous Specialist Dietitian and provide a comprehensive and effective dietetic service to this client group. Working closely with multi-disciplinary teams and other Dietitians. To provide assessment, management for inpatients and outpatients requiring specialist dietetic and nutrition intervention. Delivering education in group settings as well as one to one. Provide training to other health professionals. To audit and evaluate the outcome of the service provided.
