Time Appointments are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading Insurance Company based in Chelmsford who are looking to appoint a professional Underwriting Assistant. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Processing in-depth mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business and issuing all relevant documentation.
2. Preparing and issuing claims listings.
3. Liaising with brokers and other departments within the company
4. Assisting trainees and apprentices with processing
Skills and Experience required:
5. Min 1 year experience of working in an underwriting support role or similar Insurance position
6. Experience in processing midterm adjustments and basic adjustments, and renewal processing
7. Strong understanding of the Insurance industry
8. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
9. Professional and articulate
10. Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks to a high standard
11. Educated to A Level standard as a minimum (or the equivalent)
