CSA Environmental is a dynamic multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in Landscape Architecture, Masterplanning, Ecology, and Heritage. Our work spans planning and design, including the creation of plans, documents, and exhibition materials.
Located in the charming village of Ashwell, North Hertfordshire, we are just 20 minutes north of Stevenage and 45 minutes from Cambridge, St Albans, Bedford, and Milton Keynes. Our Ashwell office is the largest of our five offices, housing our masterplanning, ecology, landscape, and graphic design teams, who collaborate closely on a diverse range of projects.
We are seeking a creative, diligent graduate graphic designer to help produce visually appealing and easy-to-read plans and documents. Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator is required, and we would like to see a portfolio that demonstrates a strong understanding of page layout, text hierarchy, and composition. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of print design and possess strong written English skills.
While not essential, an interest in the housing/planning sector and basic knowledge of AutoCAD and SketchUp would be beneficial. A willingness to learn these programs for technical drawing assistance is also encouraged.
Duties to include:
* To provide overall graphics design support including internal and external documentation, presentations, promotional material, report templates, and web design.
* To be proficient in design software programs such as Photoshop, InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
* To work closely with the Graphic Designer to support various design projects.
* To work with the Graphic Designer to create and manage a calendar of workflow, projects and documentation reviews.
* To assist and provide general support to the Graphics Design with general graphics administration and workload.
* To adhere to Company policies and procedures.
(Please note the above is not an exhaustive list of duties.)
Location and hours:
Due to the role being based in our rural location in Ashwell SG7 5NT, a valid driving licence is required to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.
This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, position and offers part-time hybrid working after successful completion of probation, with hours to be discussed.
We provide excellent benefits, including a competitive £25,000 per year salary, pension, bonus scheme, and flexible working options, as well as opportunities for ongoing training and career development.
If you have the skills and enthusiasm to join our vibrant, fast-paced practice, please submit the following by 09/04/2025 (interviews expected soon after, although we may commence interviews prior to this on receipt of suitable applications):
* CV detailing your qualifications and work experience.
* Portfolio showcasing your relevant graphic work (max. 10MB).
