We are looking for a highly motivated professional, dedicated to upholding the highest standards of food safety, quality, legality, and authenticity to join our dynamic quality and technical team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across all departments to ensure seamless operations while exceeding customer expectations.
This is a full-time office-based role.
About us: Located on the Shropshire/Worcestershire border, Kudos Blends is an award-winning baking powder manufacturer supplying national and international industrial bakeries. We specialise in providing science-led baking solutions that help well-known bakery brands achieve exceptional results. Our unique baking powders and leavening agents help our customers make improvements to health and nutrition as well as overcoming challenging formulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the development, maintenance, and implementation of the Quality Management System, ensuring alignment with the latest BRCGS Food Safety standards and company methodology.
2. Organise internal training as a result of changes to policies and procedures.
3. Issue product specifications for new and current products.
4. Complete customer specifications and questionnaires accurately and promptly.
5. Ensure the timely completion of finished product testing and environmental sampling, including the coordination of external testing.
6. Actively participate in external customer audits and assist with the creation and implementation of corrective action plans.
7. Conduct internal audits in line with the internal audit schedule.
8. Perform site inspections, focusing on GMP, CCP compliance, hygiene, and housekeeping standards.
9. Collect and analyse KPI data for reporting and presentations to drive continuous improvement.
Candidate Requirements:
1. A Diploma in Higher Education is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.
2. Experience in the food manufacturing industry is desirable.
3. Familiarity with Food Hygiene, Auditing, and HACCP principles is advantageous.
4. Proficiency in MS Office applications, with strong skills in data analysis and MS Excel where possible.
5. A proactive mindset with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
6. Flexibility, reliability, and excellent organizational skills in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
7. Strong communication skills and attention to detail.

Salary: £28-32k based on a 40-hour working week.
