This role(s) will at the forefront in ensuring the delivery of new propositions across the Beauty and General Merchandising in both a timely and engaging manner. Previously roles in this area have been responsible for the delivery of the Beauty Only store at Battersea, driven the development of the Skincare of the Future proposition while currently leading the implementation Fragrance executions across the estate. As a Project Manager, you’ll ensure that the proposition development elements of the Modernising Property Portfolio Programme meet the agreed requirements, within timescale, cost and quality constraints. The size and complexity of project will vary, there will projects that will range from small up to large, with a various level of stakeholder management required. You’ll drive the end-to-end delivery of project within timescale, cost and quality constraints to ensure that projects meet the agreed business and customer requirements. Planning and Estimating – You’ll own the planning for the projects – including project plans, resource plans and financial forecasts. You’ll need to ensure that estimates for projects cover all identified work and represent value for money for Boots. Delivery – As well as being responsible for delivery, you’ll ensure projects follow the change control process for any changes to timescales, cost, requirements or design and ensure that these are recorded. You’ll also proactively manage Risks, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies, ensuring that these are identified, mitigated or escalated as necessary in order to minimize impact on delivery milestones and costs. It also key to set clear expectations and hold colleagues, partners and suppliers to account. Business engagement and stakeholder management – You’ll develop and implement project communications plans to engage key stakeholders within and outside of the programme to drive their sustained and active commitment to success. This will support with building strong relationships with the Project Director, Delivery Team and senior business stakeholders. What you’ll need to have Strong planning, monitoring, and reviewing skills, with the ability to manage resources effectively. Ability to motivate and encourage others, while remaining decisive and working well under pressure. Skilled in resolving conflicts and maintaining respect and trust within a team. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Ability to manage the impact of projects on stakeholders and ensure smooth coordination across teams. Experienced in controlling and monitoring budgets, ensuring efficient financial management. Strong IT skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
