Job overview
We are seeking for 2 experienced Band 3 administrator's to join our dynamic multi-disciplinary team based in Harlow SET CAMHS clinic, working for the SET CAMHS Service.
NELFT is an experienced provider of mental health services for children and young people, already providing these services in four London boroughs. It is also one of England’s largest NHS Foundation Trusts.
Main duties of the job
Desirable criteria
1. Using Systmone data base or similar, to interrogate patient information and update accordingly
2. General admin duties, including, preparation of patient letters, sorting incoming/out-going post, management of emails and incoming queries via telephone and post, photo-copying and filing
3. Liaising with members of staff including, clinicians and senior managers
4. Knowledge and experience on Microsoft applications, such as, email, excel and word
5. Direct telephone and face to face contact with service users and their carers/parents
6. Experience in administrative role within the NHS, education, social care or similar

7. Good organisational and admin skills
8. Great telephone manner and customer service skills
9. 2 years minimum administrative experience

About NELFT’s new SET CAMHS
NELFT’s SET CAMHS is for anybody aged between 0-18, living in the Southend, Essex and Thurrock areas and is free at the point of entry. The service is also for young people with special educational needs (SEN) up to the age of 25.
Any young person experiencing emotional wellbeing or mental health problems, (or any parent, guardian, professional or teacher of a child who is experiencing emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties), may access our service.

Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focussing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
High Cost Area Supplement - Fringe
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of £1,258 to a maximum of £2,122 pro rata for part time).
