Civil Engineer
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000
Location: Morden
We’re looking for a Civil Engineer with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience to join a supportive and knowledgeable team. You’ll be involved in a variety of projects including retaining walls, earthworks, temporary works, and general structural and infrastructure design. It’s a great chance to strengthen your skills across key areas of civil engineering while working alongside experienced professionals.
What you’ll be doing:
* Designing concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures using hand calculations and design software
* Creating practical and buildable design concepts that meet client expectations
* Producing detailed design work to current codes and standards, including risk assessments and sketches
* Making sure your work follows internal quality standards and is professionally delivered
What we’re looking for:
* A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng or MEng, 2:1 or higher)
* At least 2 years of relevant industry experience
* Working towards membership of ICE or IStructE
* Strong understanding of Eurocodes and DMRB
* Experience using structural design software such as TEDDS or SCIA
* Previous rail design experience is a bonus
* A clean UK driving licence
Additional Info:
* Open-plan office environment
* Some site visits and occasional travel may be required
* Occasional evening, night, or weekend work may be needed and will be paid accordingly
* You’ll attend meetings where necessary to support project delivery
