About the role The role will be supporting the Head of Social in delivering social content and campaigns for retail, venue, ticketing, membership and partnership marketing for the club. You will lead on alignment with marketing managers across the club to understand priorities, take briefs and translate them into successful social media plans; as well as focusing on strategy for the future based on reporting and analysis of past activity. You will develop a season-long calendar of marketing and partnerships activity for social which can be folded seamlessly into our schedule of football content, and can mitigate clashes and risks to performance. You will be able to provide effective reporting of activity and campaigns to the team, wider marketing managers and senior stakeholders to produce strong insights. Your impact You will be degree educated in journalism, marketing, digital, social media, or another related subject or will have relevant experience. Extensive experience is needed working on high profile social media platforms, developing social marketing plans and campaigns in a brand environment. You will have a strong social creative background with the ability to report on social media analytics. You will have experience running paid social campaigns across Meta and TikTok either through agencies or in-house. A passion for working in the football industry would be a bonus but not essential.
