Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
The Ear Nose and Throat Clinic located in the Outpatient Department at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester is a diverse, multidisciplinary environment which requires flexible and adaptable skills, an aptitude to learn and a motivation to develop your own skills.
In the ENT Clinic, you will be able to learn all about ENT and treatment. You will be assisting our ENT doctors in their outpatient clinics, supporting our Emergency Clinic, Triage calls, running Nurse Led Clinics, and helping manage our delicate ENT equipment with the support of your direct line manager.
Previous outpatient experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given. Professional development is a high priority, and regular CPD is encouraged and essential. The department offers a supportive and learning environment that constantly develops the service to ensure that patients receive the highest quality and most up-to-date care.
Flexible working is required; our shifts are from 08:00 until 18:00, four times a week. However, we do offer evening clinics to support our patients, so flexibility to work until 20:00 is essential.
This is a full-time vacancy, although part-time applicants will be considered.
This is a very patient-focused service, and the successful candidate will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work across a range of different medical and surgical specialties.
