The Role
We have a vacancy for a full-time Tool Hire Supervisor within our Brighton Branch.
You will be responsible for setting and building the foundations for a successful Tool Hire Business within a Merchant Branch and managing all areas within your remit.
You will develop and execute the sales plan that will support the growth of Tool Hire and our wider offering to our customers.
Maintain the correct stock levels to maximise equipment utilisation.
Complete tests and runs, servicing and basic repairs, and meet with the guidelines within safe hire.
Knowledge of the products and services will be essential to deliver on our objectives.
Ensure the Health and Safety policy is actively pursued throughout your area of operation.
Ensure customers receive the very highest level of service as appropriate to their specific needs, e.g., Trade or Retail or Account, including developing appropriate good working relationships to ensure customers become repeat customers.
Ensure the Branch's stock is maintained to the highest standard and in particular ensure we maintain adequate stock levels, especially of day-to-day items.
The Requirements
* Petrol and diesel equipment experience would be advantageous.
* Previous Tool & Plant Hire Industry experience with a good understanding of electrical equipment.
* Transferable skills such as inspirational leadership, operational management, sales experience, great customer service, and commercial acumen.
* Supervisory experience and the ability to lead by example.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
* Self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
* Strong team player who works as part of a team and independently.
The Hours
Week 1: Monday - Friday 7:30 to 17:00
Week 2: Monday - Friday 7:30 to 17:00, Saturday 8:00 to 12:00 midday.
