About the role
We are looking to recruit a Network Performance Analyst to join the Wastewater Performance Team to support us in maximising the team’s contribution towards the effective operation and maintenance of the wastewater network. You’ll manage and respond to alerts from monitors across the wastewater network including storm overflows, sewage treatment works and pumping stations and work with regulatory data to ensure compliance with permits and accurate environmental reporting. You will work closely with the operational teams and contractors to ensure high levels of monitor operability. This role directly supports our work to reduce pollution incidents and spills to the environment.
The role will require you to have wastewater experience along with first class data analysis and reporting skills to support team leaders and managers to make effective business decisions, identify areas for improvement and maximise performance.
You will manage maintenance requests and alarms to ensure that maintenance of our fleet of monitors is carried out in a timely manner and that crew resource is used efficiently.
You will need to produce timely and accurate reporting and be able to present the data to various business stakeholders. You will also be innovative as you look for improvements to enhance current processes.
About you
We’d really like to hear from you if you are genuinely committed to improving our environmental performance.
We’re looking for the successful candidate to have knowledge and experience of the wastewater network and treatment along with excellent customer service skills. Knowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks is desirable but not essential and you should have experience of Quality, Environmental and Health and Safety procedures.
You’ll have proven experience of being a strong team player, involving and supporting others in problem-solving and decision-making processes, along with effective relationship management and networking ability (across all areas of the business and with external stakeholders).
We’re looking for you to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with highly developed literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills. You will be motivated to embrace innovation and to look for and highlight potential improvements in ways of working.
