Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Cardiff
My client is a well-known national firm with an outstanding reputation for Conveyancing.
Joining this relatively new office setup, you will pick up a ready-made caseload and be highly motivated for the next challenge in your career.
Typical duties:
1. Managing a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion; including, sales & purchase, re-mortgage, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions.
2. To process cases on a timely and cost-effective basis.
3. Liaising directly with clients, estate agents, and lenders.
4. Developing professional relationships, both with clients and with other potential sources of work.
5. Generating a fee income in line with agreed targets.
6. To manage own work allocation, productivity, and quality of work with minimum supervision.
About the Person:
To be a successful candidate for this role you must also have the following attributes, skills, and experience:
1. Hold a relevant qualification (i.e., solicitor, CILEx, CLC) or have experience of managing your own caseload.
2. Recent practical experience of working in the legal profession.
3. Proven track record in Conveyancing client case management and fee earning.
4. Be organised and process-driven.
5. Be commercially astute, understanding the importance of business targets and their impact on the practice.
6. Have a commitment to providing an excellent standard of client care.
7. Be IT literate with experience of using a web-based case management system.
8. Recent experience of handling client inquiries both face to face and by telephone.
