Job Title: Commissioning Project Lead – Electrical

Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Planning and supervising commissioning activities
* Overseeing Electrical Rip outs for the weapons section
* Reviewing and authoring test documentation in relation to the weapons test section
* Reviewing and planning training and development of electrical engineers within the section
* Deputising for the weapons Managers in their absence and act as temporary lead, covering all weapons section meetings
* Liaising with other test departments to ensure safe control of work
* Ensuring all commissioning activities are met to accurately plan and budget
* Providing expertise & advice and guidance by acting as Subject Matter Expert at Test Group
Your skills and experiences:
* Commissioning Engineering experience
* Experience of reviewing electrical and weapons technical documentation and drawings
* Good knowledge of either Sonar, Navigation, Command Systems or external communications systems from either commissioning or maintaining experience
* Knowledge of safety controls & procedures in a high-risk operational environment
* Experience or knowledge with Instrumentation Systems including Electrostatic Discharge, Low Voltage Control, Data Communications & Fibre Optics
* Experience with Spice, SAP, or Primavera P6
