Position
An opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Charge Nurse at University Hospital Ayr.
What You Will Do
Applications are invited from motivated and enthusiastic registered nurses with a desire to assist the SCN in the effective and efficient management of all resources within the department.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
* Current NMC registration
* Extensive experience in all Endoscopic diagnostic, therapeutic and emergency procedures
* Evidence of continuous professional development
* Excellent communication skills to liaise confidently and effectively within a large multidisciplinary team
* Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate workload of elective and emergency patients
* Excellent mentorship and leadership skills to assist in the development, assessment and appraisal of our nursing team to ensure the provision of safe and effective care of patients requiring an endoscopic procedure within NHS Ayrshire and Arran (South)
Hours
30 - 37 hours per week
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
UK driving licence/Car ownership is essential to this role.
