We are looking to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant on a 1-Year Fixed Contract who shares the drive and passion necessary to ensure every student achieves their potential. Working in partnership with class teachers and the pastoral team, you will be a champion for SEN students.

We have a fully inclusive ethos and run our own in-house Enhanced Provisions to provide SEMH support for young people in line with Trauma Perceptive Practice principles. This is where the successful candidate will begin their BA career.
We are working with the Local Authorities and accepting referrals to support students who are transitioning from KS2 to KS3. All students in the provisions have access to a key worker who is responsible for their journey on the EP pathway.
Salary Range: Band 3 FTE £27,472 - £29,730. Actual starting salary £23,562 with performance-based yearly increments.
Working weeks: 39 weeks (Term Time) and Parent/Open evening as required
Working Hours: 37 hours per week (08:00-16:00 Mon-Thurs and 08:00 - 15:30 Fri)
The role:
* To work as part of a compassionate, professional team to support and enable the progress of vulnerable learners
* To contribute towards the positive impact of the SEMH Enhanced Provision where every child has hope and the opportunity to reach their own potential regardless of their starting point
* To provide high-quality support for children who require targeted intervention to develop their social and emotional skills
* To work under the professional direction of the Head of Provision, including contributing to a safe learning environment, consistent relationships, teaching, and assessment
To be considered for the post you must:
* Have 5 GCSE Grade C or above (or equivalent) including English and Mathematics
* Be able to evidence the ability to work independently, show your own initiative, and be able to make decisions confidently
* Have a patient, encouraging and resilient demeanour
* Have excellent interpersonal skills, with clear and concise communication
