P.E. Sports Technician
Contract: Fixed term 6 week contract from Monday 24th February - Friday 4th April 2025
Hours: 08:00 - 16:00 Monday-Friday
Oaks Park is a large comprehensive school in Ilford, East London with a wide range of fantastic sporting facilities. We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging PE technician to join our highly regarded PE department for a period of 6 weeks. If you are passionate about sport and have an enthusiasm for supporting young people with their physical education, this is a role you will excel in. You may be considering a career in teaching, and this would give you the opportunity to experience first-hand what it is like to work in a school setting.
This role will include supporting the PE specialist teachers in the preparation and delivery of high-quality Physical Education lessons and sporting experiences at KS3, KS4, and KS5 by supporting coaching sessions and providing an efficient and comprehensive technical service to the department. It will also include covering lessons, assisting with and running extra-curricular clubs, planning and attending fixtures, organizing resources and equipment, and managing the school sports teams.
