What You’ll Do:
As our new Business Development Manager, you’ll be the bridge between our company and a network of merchants, contractors, and specifiers in your region. You’ll be in charge of driving sales, building lasting relationships, and growing your pipeline of new business. Your Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Networking – Develop relationships with key players in the industry, including merchants, contractors, housing associations, and councils.
Sales Growth – Proactively manage your sales pipeline through effective planning and communication, ensuring you hit those targets!
Customer Engagement – Be the first point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Admin with Impact – Prepare quotations, manage client files, and make sure everything is organized for maximum efficiency.
Market Insights – Keep an eye on the market, competitors, and customer needs to stay ahead of the game.
Knowledge Sharer – Attend training and share product knowledge to stay at the top of your game, while also contributing to future product development.
Smooth Operations – Work collaboratively with internal teams and departments to ensure we deliver excellent service at every step.
What We’re Looking For:
A natural communicator who thrives in building relationships.
Someone with a proven track record of driving sales and growing business.
A self-starter with excellent time management and organisational skills.
Tech-savvy and comfortable using sales databases (Vecta).
A quick learner who’s excited to dive into product training and industry knowledge.
A positive attitude and a drive to succeed, even when facing challenges.
Ideally, some experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles, but if you’ve got the passion, we’ll train you up!
