Teaching Personnel are seeking a pastoral support for one of our closest partner schools in Solihull.
We need a confident and experienced individual who is no stranger to supporting vulnerable children with schools, ideally, we require someone who has had experience in a pastoral role.
Pay Rate: £95-105 per day
Hours: Full Time
Location: Solihull
Person Specification:
- Relevant experience working with children, particularly in a pastoral role
- Confident interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships
- Experience working with vulnerable people and have a strong understanding on how to support these pupils
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to self manage own workload
- Strong understanding of safeguarding and maintain a commitment to positively promoting the welfare of children within the school
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored interventions and offer advice to support pupils with their behaviour, attendance and potential struggles
- Actively promote the positive holistic wellbeing of all pupils
- Support the most vulnerable pupils within the school, providing coping strategies
- Work alongside the pupil to improve their timetable to encouarge attendance
- In a timely manner, report and escalate concerns to the class teacher and any serious concerns to the SENCO
- Always maintain confidentiality, upholding the schools policies and procedures at all times

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
