My client is a household energy organisation looking for a Category Manager to drive innovation and manage their evolving portfolio in Facilities (both Hard & Soft), Construction and Engineering Services.
About the Role:
* Be at the heart of efforts to shift from a traditional energy company to a more agile, innovation-driven business.
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing strategy across facilities, construction and engineering services spend.
* Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and change.
What We're Looking For:
* Experience managing complex procurement processes across indirect procurement, ideally within Facilities Management (FM), Construction or Engineering Services.
* Experience operating across the end-to-end sourcing process, from business partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements, running the RFP process, and managing contract negotiations.
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, especially in dynamic settings where innovation and change are key.
* Strong interface and communication skills, comfortable working at speed in a rapidly evolving landscape.
