Ensuring Right-to-Work Compliance and Supporting Our International Workforce
Are you detail-oriented with strong analytical skills? We are seeking a Visa & Compliance Officer (maternity cover) to join our Resourcing Department at Hinchingbrooke Hospital. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining up-to-date right-to-work information, ensuring compliance with UKVI regulations, and supporting staff with immigration-related guidance.

• Ability to interpret and apply immigration regulations and right-to-work guidelines.
• Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with staff across all levels.
• A commitment to delivering accurate, timely information and maintaining compliance.
Join us in supporting our international workforce and ensuring our Trust remains fully compliant with Home Office regulations.
• Keep staff visa and work permit information current on both the Resourcing Department database and ESR (Electronic Staff Record).
• Use UKVI software to facilitate certificates of sponsorship for new and extended visa applications, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Provide expert advice to staff on certificates of sponsorship, right-to-work queries and Home Office UKVI policy.
• Run reports to monitor processing times, identify potential issues and follow relevant protocols to ensure compliance.
• Work closely with colleagues to resolve right-to-work queries, escalating where necessary to meet statutory requirements.
