Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity for Registered Mental Health Nurses and/or Registered Learning Disabilities Nurses wanting to enhance their careers.
We are creating an Enhanced Care and Support Team at the RUH and offering you the chance to build your skill set and further your career.
Our Enhanced Care and Support Team has been set up to deliver high quality enhanced therapeutic care, support and supervision ensuring the Patient's physical and psychological well being needs are met.
This is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of an innovative new service, with a supportive management team. The Enhanced Care and Support Service is looking for people who are ambitious and creative, and willing to lead change from the front.

This includes assisting with ADLs, providing 1:1 care, engaging in therapeutic activities and assisting with ward-based care and interventions.
The RUH has an established preceptorship and student programme, and we are developing a comprehensive service-specific competency and training programme to meet the diverse needs of the patients in our care. We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses.
If this sounds appealing to you and you feel you can enhance our growing team we look forward to receiving your application.
