We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced Administrator to join our QHSE Department (Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental) at our Head Office in Castle Donington, Leicestershire/Derbyshire.
The Role :
You will support the Health and Safety Manager with the general administrative activities of the department and assist with ensuring the company’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental processes, procedures and requirements are compliant.
You will support with:
1. Preparation and distribution of a variety of department communications using PowerPoint, Yodeck, and the company Intranet.
2. Internal and external audits for the business management systems, including the monitoring and coordinating of monthly compliance documentation.
3. Compliance of the company waste management systems and processes.
4. Department induction sessions for new starters.
5. Training and guidance on processes and policies across the business, including support of the electronic learning monitoring system.
6. Support the creation, issuing, and review of QHSE Documentation such as risk assessments, policies, procedures, and training materials.
7. Administration of the company corrective action request system.
8. General diary management and administration support.
Hours of work: 37.5 per week, Monday – Friday (approx. 8am – 4pm) based at Castle Donington, with the possibility of some hybrid working.
Experience needed :
To join us as our Administrator, we are looking for:
1. Minimum of 5 GCSEs Grade 4 (C grade) including Maths and English (or equivalent).
2. Computer literate, excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office; knowledge/experience of Visio would be advantageous.
3. An interest in Health, Safety, and Environmental aspects would be advantageous.
4. Previous experience of working in a busy fast-paced administrative role is essential.
5. Possess the ability to communicate at all levels.
6. Confident to be able to present, inspire, and engage with others.
7. Ability to capture an audience and encourage engagement and interaction of all QHSE department topics.
8. Full driving licence essential – as some travel may be required on occasion.
