Job Role
Liber8 are looking to appoint people to our new service, Rehabilitation to Reintegration (R2R). This is a new service for people’s pre and post discharge from residential rehabilitation (RR), returning to South Lanarkshire.
The service would operate on two strands: practical and emotional support and personal development planning. R2R will help individuals prepare to enter residential rehabilitation and continue that support post discharge to help them navigate the landscape they’re returning to. Support workers will work with the person to establish and access recovery opportunities and activities and also link them with wider services where necessary, including mutual aid, housing, benefits, and other wraparound networks.
The post is aimed at mentoring and supporting people at this critical transitioning stage of their lives. The postholder will help the person prepare for entering RR and to build recovery capital, increase confidence while encouraging them to achieve their full potential: together setting realistic goals to assist in their own individual recovery journey.
Minimum Requirements
Ideally, the successful candidate will have some or all of the following: an SVQ Level 3 qualification in Social Services and Health Care (or an equivalent qualification) and experience of holding a responsible position in this field of work or similar.
Desired Skills
* Have experience and be able to demonstrate working effectively in a similar role.
* The ability to build trust-based effective relationships, both internally and externally.
* Have a proactive and dynamic personal style, with flexibility in style and approach.
In return we offer
* Competitive salary rates
* Annual leave: 34 days (incl), increasing 1 day each year to a max of 42 days.
* Employer contributory pension scheme
* Paid Membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
* Working in a supportive environment
* Working for a well-established small organisation where person-centred values are at the core.
This is an exciting time to join our expanding and innovative recovery programme in South Lanarkshire, which provides recovery activities and opportunities, ensuring people have the tools and skills needed to continue on their recovery journey.
Further Opportunities
Liber8 are looking to appoint a Therapeutic Groupwork Facilitator. The postholder will provide groupwork and 1-1 if required to people who have experienced alcohol/substance use, mental health issues and associated issues and are now seeking to maintain their recovery journey.
The postholder will work closely with the multidisciplinary Beacons recovery team including the counsellors and recovery workers to promote, encourage and celebrate recovery. They will be able to foster a culture and maintain a psychologically informed environment. We are looking for Liber8 to appoint a Therapeutic Groupwork Facilitator who works in an integrative way, providing psychosocial and psychological interventions rather than being confined to a single topic.
Demonstrable experience of working in a similar area of work and designing, developing and facilitating group programmes and workshops are requirements for this post.

Do you want to help bring life in all its fullness to people living in poverty across Asia and Africa in the name of Jesus? Do you enjoy building relationships, public speaking, and strategic thinking? Are you able to inspire others to bring lasting change? If so, we would love to hear from you!
You may have thought that leprosy is an ancient Biblical disease, but today someone is diagnosed with leprosy every two minutes. It is a disease of poverty, striking the most vulnerable. Stigma and discrimination mean many people with leprosy hide their symptoms for as long as possible, living in terrible fear of what will happen to them. But without fast treatment, leprosy can cause blindness and disable hands and feet.
Rejection, isolation, hopelessness. We believe that this is not how God wants people to live. Will you join us to help end leprosy?
The Leprosy Mission (TLM) is the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation, a pioneer in our field, with over 150 years’ experience serving people affected by this disease. We are a leading international development charity, working in nine countries across Africa and Asia. We are Christ-centered, following His leading to defeat leprosy and transform lives.
We are looking for an inspirational leader to develop and deliver fundraising plans in Scotland, and to provide excellent care for faithful Scottish supporters. You’ll be working from home, with extensive travel across Scotland.

Key Qualifications
* A relational public speaker, experienced in engaging audiences including churches, community groups and businesses.
* Proven success in fundraising.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Willingness to work on Sundays and evenings as required, and occasional Saturdays.
* The ability to develop and deliver a fundraising strategy.

TLM has a zero-tolerance policy towards any abuse, neglect, and exploitation of all people. Successful candidates are expected to understand, sign, and comply with all organisational policies, including the Safeguarding Code of Conduct and the Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults Policy. Recruitment to all roles within TLM includes criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from joining us as an employee; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences. We are committed to diversity and welcome applications from appropriately qualified people from all sections of the community, who have permission to work in the UK.
Are you a passionate and motivated individual who is looking to make a difference in your community? If you are then this is an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at the Inverclyde Foodbank and help us realise our ambition to ensure no one in our community is faced with the prospect of going hungry. Through this new role, you’ll proactively create and grow fundraising income, support from individuals, local businesses, local grant funders, schools, community groups and associations within and around Inverclyde. You'll be at the heart of our local community, bringing our cause to life and building lasting donor relationships. You’ll have first-hand experience of fundraising and the capacity to create and deliver compelling fundraising activities that successfully engage and attract donations from new and existing supporters.
