Cure Talent are thrilled to partner with a global Med-Tech leader and we are currently looking for a Technical Team Leader. This role focuses on ensuring production equipment operates efficiently and reliably by investigating and resolving recurring issues, developing and executing maintenance processes and coaching team members on maintenance standards. This person leads maintenance planning, performs hands-on tasks and drives continuous improvement to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime. Responsibilities: Analyse and resolve recurring issues (e.g., breakdowns, waste, speed losses) using root-cause analysis; coach team members and support shift technicians to implement effective countermeasures. Enhance Daily Task Maintenance (DTM) and Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) processes to improve OEE and safety performance; recommend updates to maintenance standards based on findings. Plan and execute maintenance activities, maintain equipment settings, and ensure process compliance in collaboration with the Preventative Maintenance Leader. Train and coach technicians and operators on DTM/PPM standards and methodologies to build capability. Perform and document planned/unplanned maintenance, address abnormalities, and ensure proper recording of spares usage and activity details. Required: HNC or Degree level education in Engineer/Mechatronics or a similar field of study. 5 years technical or manufacturing experience required, with several years of experience with high-speed automated assembly and packaging equipment required. Experience leading a technical team in a busy manufacturing setting. Experience with safety and ergonomics in a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of Quality Systems
