About the Role As an SEN TA, you will provide crucial support to students with diverse needs, including autism, learning difficulties, and physical disabilities. Working closely with teaching and support staff, you will help create a positive and inclusive learning environment tailored to each student's unique requirements. Key Responsibilities as an SEN TA Provide one-to-one or small-group support, aiding students in both academic and social activities. Assist the class teacher in adapting lesson materials to meet individual needs. Foster student independence and confidence in their abilities. Offer personal care support when required, including assistance with feeding, toileting, and mobility. Collaborate with teachers and therapists to monitor progress and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs). What We’re Looking For Previous experience as an SEN TA, especially in settings supporting complex needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
