Overall Job Purpose This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative. As part of the Manufacturing Team, you will: Carry out various manufacturing operations associated with assembly, testing, finishing and calibration of FT's products using standard work instructions. Main Tasks & Responsibilities As part of the Quality Team, your responsibilities will include: All assembly operations, including hand soldering. In-process inspection & test. Sealing & finishing operations. Calibration operations. Fault finding to sub-assembly level on RMAs and production test fails. Support Skills Matrix qualification and cross-training of Manufacturing Operatives. Champion 5S & Standard Work to maintain and improve product quality and factory productivity. Support internal Management System audits (ISO 9001 / 14001). Support continuous improvement in product quality and factory productivity. Support proto-type build & special projects. Support New Product Introduction. Any reasonable task in Manufacturing, including Store & Logistics, PCBA and Main Production. Support automated printed circuit board assembly. Support materials handling & storage, including cycle counting. Skills, Ability and Experience (Essential) HND level 5 or an equivalent standard in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience working in a technical/manufacturing environment. Solid time management and organisational skills. Strong numerical literacy and analytical skills. Strong written & verbal communication skills.
