About the Role
As a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) at Partridge of Hampshire, you will play a crucial role in our repair process. You will assess BMW/MINI brand vehicles, using Audatex to calculate the costing and time required to complete all repairs accurately, professionally, and to the highest manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough assessments of damaged vehicles and provide accurate repair estimates.
2. Utilise your technical expertise to identify the correct repair methods, as well as the cost and time scale, to produce comprehensive repair plans.
3. Liaise with insurance companies, customers, and internal teams to ensure all repair work and costs are authorised and issues are resolved quickly.
4. Provide exceptional customer service and build and maintain positive relationships with customers and insurance companies.
5. Prepare and maintain detailed records of damage assessments, estimates, and repair progress.
6. Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure that health and safety regulations and procedures are adhered to.
About You
You will have proven experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor or a similar role in the automotive repair industry. You will be proficient and confident in using relevant software, such as Audatex, for estimating and assessment purposes, as well as possess a strong understanding of vehicle repair techniques.

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
2. Ability to work well under pressure and manage your time and resources effectively and efficiently.
3. High attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and thorough repair assessments and estimates.
4. Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

6. Strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers.
