Responsibilities
1. Conduct thorough examinations of animals to diagnose health issues.
2. Perform surgical procedures, including routine operations and emergency surgeries.
3. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual animal needs.
4. Administer anaesthesia and monitor patients during surgical procedures.
5. Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to provide comprehensive care.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for all patients.
7. Educate pet owners on preventative care, nutrition, and post-operative care.
8. Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Skills
1. Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, surgical techniques, and laboratory procedures.
2. Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to make sound clinical decisions.
3. Proficient in handling various animal species with compassion and care.
4. Strong communication skills for effectively interacting with pet owners and team members.
5. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
6. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00-£70,000.00 per year
